David and Goliath

Goliath, the giant from the Philistines, was nearly three meters tall and wore heavy armor. Every day he shouted insults on the battlefield, mocking the Israelites and their God. All the Israelite soldiers trembled in fear, and no one dared to fight. The young David came to bring food for his brothers. Trusting in God, he carried only his shepherd's sling and five smooth stones. He struck Goliath's forehead with a single stone, and the giant fell to the ground.
